about: My name is BRITTANY DHAWAN, AIA, and I am the sole director of Studio 144 Architects, founded on October 21st, 2019. I started in the field of architecture back in 2001 when I interned for Tarr Architects in their Fresno, California office. A native of Madera, California, in the middle of the Central Valley. I grew up in a mechanic’s garage on main street, where my grandfather, Harmon Henderson started business in 1949. I left Madera for college at Azusa Pacific University in Los Angeles and there earned first a Global Studies degree. During my time in undergraduate studies I worked for several Los Angeles based firms in architecture and also interned for Vivid Magazine based out of Bucharest, Romania.
I later returned to Graduate School at USC and earned a Master’s of Architecture in 2012. During my 16 years of service in the profession of architecture, I have worked on now over 1600 units of multifamily housing for multiple firms in the Bay Area. In the last 2 1/2 years with Noll and Tam Architects of Berkeley, CA, I worked with several Community College clients to design, document and oversee the completion of dozens of architectural projects. I am now delighted to offer professional services through Studio 144 Architects. I am excited to talk to and meet anyone who thinks they may need an Architect.
